Absolutely! Our at-home impression kit includes easy-to-follow instructions, video guidance, and extra putty so you can practice before taking your final impressions. If you need assistance, we'll arrange a live video session with one of our experts, who will guide you step by step to help you achieve accurate impressions on your first attempt. Plus, a dedicated Smile Specialist will be assigned to support you throughout your entire smile journey—from impressions to your final results.
What happens after I send my impressions back?
Once we receive your impressions, our licensed dental team carefully reviews them and creates your personalized 3D treatment plan. You'll be able to preview your future smile before your aligners are made.

An In-Person Scan uses advanced 3D intraoral scanning technology to create a detailed digital model of your teeth. The scan is quick, comfortable, and performed by trained professionals, providing everything our licensed dental team needs to create your personalized 3D treatment plan.
Can't find a partner scan location near you?
No problem! If you don't find a partner location in the list below, you can visit any local dentist or dental clinic that offers 3D intraoral scans. Simply ask them to provide you with the STL files of your scan (they can email them to you or send us at hello@smileie.com). Once you receive the STL files, upload or email them to us, and our dental team will create your personalized treatment plan. As a bonus, we'll also offer you a discount when you choose this option.
What happens after my scan?
Once your scan is completed, the clinic securely sends us your STL files (a 3D digital model of your teeth). Our licensed dental professionals carefully review your scans and create a personalized 3D treatment plan designed specifically for your smile goals. You'll receive an interactive 3D smile preview to review before treatment begins. Once you approve your treatment plan, we begin fabricating your custom set of clear aligners, and they'll be shipped directly to your doorstep.
